It’s Zurich Gay Pride 2016 !!! When I think of pride, I think of a mass congregation of people whose varying, diverse identities do not fall under the conventionality of cisgender or heterosexual. These gatherings hold a particularly cherished importance to me, as a queer 23-year-old; to be around strangers who have fought my battle, strangers who have walked in my shoes, is invariably refreshing.
GAY Pride is about valuing the diversity that is humanity in all its varied presentations.
I’m happy to live in a world where glitter and boxing gloves can stand together !!!

Dear Students of Yen Han Dance Center,

It has been a great weekend, watching you on stage and I would like you to know that I enjoyed every moment to teach you. I’m very proud of you.

Each one of you has a bright future ahead of you. Work hard and enjoy! You’ve done great shows!

Special thanks for everything to all the team of Yen Han Dance Center and Yen Han herself and of course to my Sunday class as well as Russel, Luisa and Catherina.

With love,

MODE SUISSE EDITION 9

IMG_3911

Mode Suisse presents, interconnects and discusses Swiss fashion at shows, in showrooms and panel discussions. Last Night I could experience what Mode Suisse is about for the second time. Mode Suisse is a platform promoting collaboration between fashion designers and schools, the textile industry, retail market, media and other fashion-related industry players.

Swiss Style it’s alive and this can make us happy, but when walking down the runway, models often have little or no expression on their faces… this makes me feel dead.
Swiss Style it’s alive and this can make us happy, but when walking down the runway, models often have little or no expression on their faces… this makes me feel dead. And Yes, I know that models are supposed to be viewed as neutral, but Runway models also have personality, they’re humans too.

Models with grace, style, confidence and a positive attitude – this would make me buy the clothes.

DANCERS OF ZURICH – Film shoot by Tristan Pope, the summer of 2015.
“Zurich has always held a special place in my heart, as I spent many summers there as a child. Revisiting so many years later as a contestant and ultimately a winner for the MoMo film festival with Dancers of NYC, and meeting so many creative people using their mobile devices to tell stories, inspired me to make the sequel to Dancers of NYC. It was so different than our first go around, with multiple dancers in frame at once, better equipment, and foreign backdrops. It was an adventure to say the least and everyone was a huge part of its creation with their ideas, suggestions, and talents. The goal here is to showcase everyone’s talent and have a ton of fun doing it!”

We wanted to become professional ballet dancers and that’s really obsessive !!!

Film by Tristan Pope …

Coming soon…

You don’t make a photograph just with a camera. You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved, the Dance you have danced.

What i like about Oliver Malicdem is that he capture a moment that’s gone forever, impossible to reproduce.
